Heard that several exchange offers nudged the qualifying first-deposit minimum without an email blast — it just changed in the terms. Old offer paid CPA on a $20 FTD; word is some now require $50-$100 to qualify.
— Your conversion rate on the dashboard looks unchanged
— But payable conversions drop because small depositors no longer count
— Affiliates blame creatives or traffic quality when the goalpost simply moved
The so-what: a manager at a Tier-1 told us threshold changes are the most common 'silent' commission cut because there's no announcement to react to. Set a calendar reminder to re-read your top offer's terms monthly, or diff the page. If your effective payout-per-click slid with no funnel change on your end, the FTD floor is the first suspect. Confirmed it on two offers myself this quarter.
