A tool says a domain is 87% toxic. Falsify it in four moves.
— Visit the page. Is the link real, contextual, and would a human editor have placed it? Scores can't see context.
— Ask why it's flagged. 'Spammy TLD', 'low traffic', 'many outbound links' — none of these is a Google penalty signal.
— Check if the same domain links to obviously healthy sites. If big clean brands sit in its 'toxic' profile, the model is junk.
— Run two different tools on the same domain. Wildly different scores prove there's no ground truth underneath.
Reality check: Google has never published or endorsed a toxicity metric. Every score is a vendor's proprietary guess dressed as a verdict — test it like the marketing claim it is.
