Client-side routing and crawl budget: a real problem most teams ignore.
When you build with React Router, Vue Router, or Next.js App Router in pure client-side mode, links between pages don't trigger a full HTTP request. They update the browser history API. For human users: seamless navigation. For Googlebot: a problem.
Googlebot crawls by following `` links in the HTML. It does execute JavaScript, but it treats each URL as a separate crawl event. If your navigation works via `router.push()` and your links don't have real `href` attributes pointing to actual URLs, Googlebot may never discover half your site.
