I’m checking the draft against the evergreen constraints: factual comparison guidance, no time-sensitive claims, limited paragraph count, and the 600–1000 character range without HTML tags.A comparison page earns trust when every claim can survive a competitor's fact-check
Comparison pages work best as buyer documents, not sales pitches:
- Define the audience and use case.
- Apply the same criteria and test scope to every product.
- Separate observable facts from judgment.
- Keep evidence for each important claim.
Assign an owner to review features, limits, integrations, screenshots, and terminology regularly. Show review status, remove claims nobody can verify, and avoid "best" or "cheapest" unless the method and scope are explicit.
Be fair about fit: explain when the alternative may suit a different buyer, and never imply affiliation. Use trademarks only to identify products. Keep screenshots factual, and have counsel review superlatives, comparative claims, and pricing language for your target markets.
Write for the skeptical reader: every claim should have clear scope, evidence, and wording that can withstand a reasonable challenge.
