Organic signups are useless until you can tie them to paid revenue
If your SEO report stops at signups, you are measuring activity, not value. Set up attribution so every organic lead carries three things: landing page, acquisition channel, and first meaningful product event. That lets you see which pages bring users who activate, not just register.
Use one clean rule set: UTM for campaign traffic, a separate organic source bucket, and one user ID passed from signup to product. Store the first-touch page and the last non-direct page. Then map revenue events back to that user record: trial start, upgrade, expansion, renewal.
Do not rely on last click alone. A comparison page may create the signup, while an integration page may drive activation later. If you only credit the final session, you will keep scaling the wrong content. Also watch for self-referrals, mixed domains, and duplicate users; they break the chain fast.
The best setup is simple enough for marketing, product, and finance to read the same numbers. If a page cannot be linked to activated accounts or revenue events, it is not an SEO asset yet — it is just traffic.
