Hot take: never put an affiliate link in a Short. Build a handoff instead.
Shorts viewers don't buy. They swipe. So stop wasting the link and run this funnel:
— Short delivers ONE sharp insight, no link, no pitch
— Last 2 seconds: "full breakdown + the tool I use, link in my channel"
— Pin the longform review to your channel page so the click has somewhere to land
— The longform carries the affiliate link, where intent is actually high
