Log-file analysis tells you more about velocity than any backlink tool
The whole "is Google noticing my links too fast" question has a real answer sitting in your server logs — and nobody looks. Googlebot's crawl frequency on your link targets IS the velocity signal.
Backlink tools show you THEIR crawl. Your logs (or GSC crawl stats) show you Google's. If bot activity spikes then normalizes after a push, you're fine. If it spikes then goes dead, you got demoted.
Log analysis is unsexy and free. Velocity dashboards are sexy and guessing.
