Myth: a high click rate (CTR) means your campaign is winning
Today: CTR means "click-through rate" — out of everyone who saw your ad, how many tapped it. Beginners chase high CTR like a high score.
But CTR can be high for a sad reason: a misleading creative. If your image looks like a system warning ("Battery low!"), tons of people panic-tap. CTR soars... and they bounce instantly, buying nothing.
Think of CTR like a doorbell. Lots of rings doesn't mean lots of dinner guests — some folks rang by mistake and ran.
The number that actually pays you is conversions: people who completed the offer.
Try this: write down your conversion count next to CTR today. Let the money number lead.
You've got this.
