"Toxic score" tools are velocity fearmongering with a number attached
Semrush and friends slap a "toxicity" percentage on your profile and the whole industry treats it like gospel — then slows their building out of fear. But that score is a vendor's BLACK-BOX guess, not a Google signal, and it punishes fast-built links just for being new and unfamiliar.
You'll throttle a perfectly good campaign because a tool that wants you scared printed a scary number.
Google has no "toxic score." It has patterns and intent. A metric you can't audit shouldn't pace your strategy.
Delete the toxicity panic. Trust placements, not percentages.
Who still lets that number drive decisions? 🔥
