ads.txt done right (it eats revenue silently)
Missing or broken ads.txt quietly bleeds you. The fix:
— Grab the exact line from AdSense → Sites → ads.txt status
— Drop it at yourdomain.com/ads.txt (root, not a subfolder)
— If on a subdomain, the file goes on the ROOT domain, not the sub
— Cache/CDN? Purge it, then load the URL yourself to confirm plain text
— Recheck status in 24-48h, the warning clears
Found a site serving ads.txt as 404 behind Cloudflare. Fixed it, RPM up 9% in a week.
