Before-afters are powerful and the most distrusted format alive. This week's picks for making them believable:

— Same lighting, same angle, same outfit. Any change in the frame reads as a trick.
— Show the messy middle, not just the endpoints. Process beats a clean jump cut.
— A timestamp or visible calendar grounds the timeline in something falsifiable.
— Understate the result. Over-claiming triggers the exact skepticism you're fighting.

⭐ Pick of the week: the messy middle. A 5-second montage of the unglamorous in-between makes the after feel earned instead of staged. Skeptics distrust the jump, not the journey, so show the journey. Counterintuitively, a less dramatic before-after with process footage out-converts a jaw-dropping one without it.
