Is it too late to change my niche or pivot?
Q: "I built an audience around one topic but I want to talk about something else now. Will I lose everyone?"
Short answer: you'll lose some people, and that's fine — the ones who leave were never going to convert into anything that matters to you. A pivot done in the open usually keeps the people who actually liked you, the person, not just the topic.
Don't disappear and reappear as a stranger. Bridge it: explain why you're shifting, connect the old topic to the new one, and let people opt in. A messy authentic pivot beats a polished identity you've outgrown.
Audiences forgive evolution. What they don't forgive is a creator who clearly stopped caring about their own content.
Try this today: write one honest post explaining what you're moving toward and why. Pin it, then start posting the new direction without apologizing.
