A dead link with the wrong anchor text won't pass relevance to your replacement. Filter first.

1. Export broken backlinks with their anchor text included.
2. Bucket anchors:
— Exact/partial-match to your topic: keep, high priority.
— Branded (dead competitor's name): skip, can't reuse.
— Generic ('click here', 'this site'): keep, lower priority.
3. Pitch your replacement only where the anchor still describes your content.
4. Automation fits at step 2: regex rules tagging anchors into the three buckets.

Definition of done: every broken backlink is anchor-bucketed and branded-anchor rows are excluded from outreach.
