When views crater, the comfortable explanation is a secret penalty flipped against you. People believe it because a mysterious enemy hurts less than a bad video.
There is no documented account-wide invisible toggle. What actually exists: per-video eligibility for the For You feed. One flagged or low-performing clip gets capped; your account isn't punished.
No one actually tested "shadowban" with a clean control — they just noticed a dip and named it.
Reframe: you don't have a banned account, you have a throttled video. Diagnose the clip, not a conspiracy.
