When a keyword cluster is young and underserved, the site that links up hard and fast becomes the default authority before competitors even notice the opportunity. You set the SERP. Later entrants are fighting YOUR entrenched profile.
Go slow here and you're literally subsidizing the competitor who moves fast. They'll occupy the spots you were too cautious to grab.
Velocity caution is a luxury for crowded niches. In a green one, it's surrender.
