Scraper sites copying your content are noise, not a link threat
The myth: hundreds of auto-generated scraper sites linking to you with junk anchors are poisoning your profile.
Reality: mass scraper and auto-aggregator links are the single most common pattern Google's link spam systems were explicitly built to ignore. They appear identically across millions of sites; the system fingerprints and discounts the whole footprint at once.
Actually, trying to disavow thousands of rotating scraper domains is a losing game — they regenerate faster than you can list them, and you're disavowing links that already count for nothing.
The audit tool counts them because counting is easy and a four-digit "toxic links" number is alarming.
Reality check: scraper links are weather, not an attack. You don't disavow the weather.
