Where they trigger:
— Comparison, pricing, specs, 'X vs Y', size charts, conversion queries.
— Google will lift a clean HTML table or even reconstruct one from tight headed rows.
The move:
— Use semantic <th> headers, keep cells short, no merged cells, no images inside.
— Put the table high, with an H2 that matches the comparison query.
Why it matters: paragraph and list boxes are knife-fights. Table boxes on spec-heavy queries often sit empty or held by a weak page — easy steal.
