Rewatched seconds count double for the algorithm and you're not engineering a single one.
How to plant a rewatch:
— Put one fast, info-dense visual on screen for exactly the time it can't be read.
— Reference it casually 20 seconds later so people scrub back.
— Hide a tiny payoff in a frame people will pause on.
Rewatch loops inflate watch time above 100% on a segment. Most creators only fight to keep people moving forward and ignore the backward replay entirely.
