Beacons, Stan, Linktree — they add a click. Every extra click is 30-50% drop-off. Sending viewers to a bio page of 15 links dilutes the one offer that video was built to sell.

A YouTube description with ONE bolded link above the fold beats a beautiful bio page nobody scrolls.

Link-in-bio is for Instagram, where you literally can't link in posts. YouTube has no such excuse.
