Here's the metric mismatch costing people in competitor teardowns
Word is half the "why are they outranking me" panics come from comparing domain strength when the fight is page-level.
— DR (domain) tells you the site's overall muscle. UR (URL Rating) tells you the actual page's link power — the thing that ranks.
— Spotted constantly: a DR 80 competitor outranked on a term by a DR 50 site whose specific page has triple the UR — because they pointed real links at it.
— Majestic's page-level Trust Flow is the cross-check. If their winning page has high page-TF and yours doesn't, that's your gap, not the domain.
Stop comparing homepages. Compare the ranking URLs. The operators who win read UR and page-TF, not the vanity domain score. Watch this space.
