Notion vs Airtable for a content calendar. Switched and won't go back.
Ran my pipeline in Notion for a year. Pretty. Slow once you hit 200 posts. Filtered views lag, no real automation without paying for a third tool.
Moved everything to Airtable:
— Status automations fire Slack pings when a draft sits in 'review' >3 days.
— Rollups show me cluster coverage at a glance — which pillar is starving for spokes.
— Grid view doesn't choke at 800 rows.
Notion's better for the wiki/SOPs. Airtable's better for the assembly line. Use both for what they're built for.
Move your calendar to a real database. Thank me later.
