A price floor is the minimum CPM you'll accept. Set too high, fill rate craters; too low, you sell cheap. Optimal floors recover 4-9% RPM (n=58 sites, 28d).

— Step 1: Pull the bid distribution per unit (the histogram of all bids).
— Step 2: Set floor at the 25th percentile of winning bids, not the median.
— Step 3: Segment floors by geo — US floor ≠ Tier-3 floor.
— Step 4: A/B at ±20% for 14d, watch fill AND RPM together.
— Step 5: Lock the version where RPM × fill is highest.

So what: Geo-split floors beat one global floor by ▲ 6%.
