Stop explaining who you are before you say anything
The most common short-form mistake is cultural rather than technical. People open with credentials and context because that is how presentations work.
It goes: name, role, why the topic matters, what we will cover, and only then the content. In a feed, all of that is a request for patience from someone who has none.
Fix it in three moves:
— Start at the sentence you would have said fourth. Everything before it is warm-up.
— Move credentials to where they are earned. Mention experience while making a point, never before making one.
— Delete the agenda. "Today I am going to show you" is a placeholder somebody forgot to remove.
The version that works usually starts mid-thought, on a claim. It feels abrupt when you record it. It does not feel abrupt in a feed, because in a feed abrupt is the baseline.
Earn the introduction by first being worth introducing.
