OneLink vs DIY geo-redirect: 14% of clicks were leaking
OneLink routes a US link to the visitor's local Amazon and pays you in that program. On a site with 22% non-US traffic (n=61,000 clicks/90d):
— Without OneLink: non-US clicks earn $0, US tag shows them as bounces
— With OneLink: ~14% incremental qualifying clicks recovered, at local EPC
The catch: each marketplace needs its own approved Associates account, and reporting fragments across dashboards. EPC abroad is usually lower (UK ~0.7x US, IN ~0.2x US).
So what: OneLink pays for itself the moment non-US traffic clears ~10%. Below that, the multi-account upkeep isn't worth the recovered pennies.
