How do I check if an offer is evergreen or about to die seasonally?
Q: I keep building funnels right before the offer goes cold. How do I spot that?
A: Audit demand before you commit:
— Drop the product category into Google Trends, 5-year view. Flat line = evergreen. Sharp annual spikes = seasonal.
— Ask the manager when volume historically peaks and dips. They know.
— Check if the offer solves an everyday need (dating, finance, health) or a calendar event (tax season, holidays, summer diet).
— For seasonal, count backward: are you entering on the rise or the downslope?
Seasonal isn't bad — it's bad timing that hurts. Build seasonal funnels 6-8 weeks before peak, harvest, then rotate out.
Short version: Trends 5-year view + manager history. Everyday need = evergreen; calendar-driven = enter early, exit before the slump.
