Stress-testing a "unlimited" plan before you trust it
Myth: "unlimited bandwidth and storage." Unlimited until an algorithm decides you're abusing it.
— Find the real cap: Ctrl+F the TOS for "inodes," "CPU seconds," "entry processes," "I/O."
— Most "unlimited" hosts cap inodes at 200k-400k. Run find . | wc -l on your site.
— Push 30GB of real traffic over a week and watch for throttle emails.
— Check the "fair use" clause: it's the kill switch that makes unlimited finite.
Follow the money: "unlimited" sells signups; inode limits quietly enforce reality in the basement of the contract.
Reality: nothing is unlimited except the marketing budget.
