Auto ads → manual without losing revenue
Moved a 40k/mo site off auto ads. The trick is overlap, not flip:
— Place your manual units FIRST, leave auto ads ON
— Run both 5 days, note RPM baseline
— In auto ads settings, drop ad load to ~50%
— Watch RPM — if it holds, drop to 30%, then off
— Final pass: delete any manual unit getting under 0.3% CTR
Went from RPM $12 to $14 because I controlled density instead of letting Google stuff 9 units in.
Steal it.
