Failure mode: JSON-LD that claims data the page doesn't show

The template injects a rating, price, or review count into schema from a field that's empty or different from what's rendered on-page. Google's structured-data systems flag the mismatch, and at scale this can earn a manual action against the whole template.

Schema-integrity SOP:
— Step 1. Owner: dev. Schema values bind to the exact same variables the visible HTML renders — one source, not a parallel block.
— Step 2. Owner: dev. If a field is empty, omit that schema property entirely; never inject 0, null, or a placeholder rating.
— Step 3. Owner: SEO. Validate 300 sample pages through a structured-data parser. Gate: zero errors, zero "value not present on page" warnings.
— Step 4. Owner: SEO. Spot-check that every schema rating/price visibly appears in the rendered content.

Guardrail: schema describes what's on the page, never what you wish were on the page.

Ship gate: don't publish until all boxes are checked.
