The 4-step autopsy before you delete a flopped video
"Delete flops, they drag your account down." No one actually tested this — there's no account-level 'flop penalty'; TikTok scores videos individually. Deleting just destroys data. Do the autopsy instead:
— Pull the retention graph. Cliff in first 2s = hook failed. Slow bleed = pacing.
— Check 'watched full video' %. Under 15% and it'll never recover, leave it.
— Read where viewers dropped against your script timestamps.
— Note traffic source: 0% FYP means the algo never tested it — that's a thumbnail/first-frame problem, not content.
A flop you understand is worth ten you erased. Mine it, don't bury it.
