You "built" 40 links this week. Google saw 9. The other 31 are sitting unindexed on dead pages. Your real velocity — the only one that counts — is the indexation rate, and you have no idea what it is.

The mistake is celebrating placement while the actual perceived pace is a fraction of your spreadsheet.

Fix: track indexed referring domains over time, not orders fulfilled. Force-index selectively so your REAL curve matches your plan.
