What is SPF and do I really need it?
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is basically a guest list. It's a small text record on your domain that says which servers are allowed to send email as you. Without it, anyone could pretend to be you, and inboxes know that.
Why it matters: missing SPF is one of the most common reasons honest emails get filtered.
✅ Do this:
— Log into your email tool (Mailchimp, Brevo, etc.) and find their SPF instructions
— Copy the
TXT
record they give you into your domain's DNS settings
— Wait a few hours, then re-check in their dashboard
Think of DNS as the public phone book for your domain — SPF is just one line in it.
Homework: find out if your sending tool already shows SPF as verified.
