You vetted the domain. You ignored the page.
Word is buyers keep approving placements on a DR-70 domain, then landing on an orphaned page with 4,000 outbound links and no internal links pointing in. The domain is strong; the page is a sewer. Equity flows through pages, not logos.
Multiple link networks exploit exactly this — a respectable domain, a hidden link-farm subfolder where your placement dies alone.
The fix the page-level vetters run —
— Check the specific linking page: how many outbound links, is it indexed, does it have internal links and any traffic of its own?
— A link from a page with one editorial mention beats a link from a page selling 90 of them, on the same domain.
DR is the building. You're buying a room. Inspect the room. Watch this space.
