The mistake: comparing percentages on different prices
New here? A 50% commission isn't automatically better than 20%. The percent is only half the story; the price tag is the other half.
Always compare in dollars:
— Multiply the rate by the actual monthly price.
— Then factor how long people stay.
Example: 50% of a $10/mo tool = $5/mo. 20% of a $49/mo tool = $9.80/mo. The "smaller" 20% pays nearly double per month.
In plain English: half of a small pizza is less food than a fifth of a giant one.
Today: take two programs you're considering and write out (rate x price) for each before deciding.
