More links per page lowers your EPC, not raises it
The intuition is wrong. Pages with 20+ affiliate links don't earn more — clicks fragment and decision paralysis rises.
— 3–6 links/page cohort: click-through 4.1%, conversion 4.4%, EPC ≈ $0.31
— 15+ links/page cohort: click-through 5.9% but conversion 2.1%, EPC ≈ $0.19
n=320 pages, 90 days. More clicks, worse money — readers click everything and commit to nothing.
Fix: cap links to your top 1–3 picks per buying decision; make those visually primary.
So what: link density and earnings are inversely correlated past ~6 links — concentrate, don't carpet-bomb.
