Bricks vs Gutenberg FSE for full-site control
You want to control header, footer, and templates — block themes or a builder?
Full Site Editing (block themes):
— Pros: native, no plugin dependency, theme.json tokens, future-proof with WordPress core, zero builder JS
— Cons: editor still maturing, template-part logic confuses clients, limited conditional display
Bricks theme builder:
— Pros: powerful conditions, dynamic data, polished editor, consistent across the whole site
— Cons: you're tied to Bricks forever, plugin-dependent, switching themes later is a rebuild
Best for: FSE if you want core-native and minimal dependency; Bricks if you need conditional templates and dynamic queries clients can't break.
