How many posts until I get real traffic?
Q: I've published 15 articles and I'm getting nothing. How many posts before Google sends traffic?
A: Short answer: it's almost never about the post count. Longer answer: new sites sit in a quiet "evaluation" window for roughly 4-8 months regardless of whether you have 15 posts or 50. Google is watching how your pages behave once people land. So the real lever isn't volume, it's making sure the 15 you have actually satisfy the query.
A useful checkpoint:
— 25-30 genuinely helpful posts on one tight topic
— each targeting a real search someone types
— then patience through that evaluation window
Piling on 80 thin posts to "hit a number" usually backfires. Depth beats count.
Anyone want me to go deeper on this? React 👍
