08:05 UTC — Quiet failure mode: pages with FAQPage markup where the schema answer and the on-page answer don't match word-for-word. Reportedly this doesn't just fail to help — it can get the page deprioritized for the box because the signals conflict.
We're also hearing stale FAQ schema (left over from a template) actively hurts when the visible content changed and the JSON-LD didn't.
The fix — keep schema answers identical to visible text, audit for orphaned FAQ blocks after content edits.
