Q: I think the network is scrubbing my leads to avoid paying. How do I prove it?
A: First, separate the two meanings. 'Scrubbing' can mean (a) legitimate removal of fraudulent or non-qualifying leads, or (b) a hidden percentage shaved off honest conversions. The mistake is jumping to (b) without ruling out (a).
Before you accuse anyone, check your own funnel:
— Are you counting registrations while they pay on first-deposit? Different events, different numbers.
— Is your postback firing on page-load instead of on the confirmed action, inflating your count?
— Are duplicate and test leads in your total but excluded from theirs?
Then measure the gap properly. Pull a sample of 50 leads with timestamps and click IDs, and ask the network to reconcile each one by ID. A real scrub shows a flat percentage haircut across all leads. A quality problem shows specific leads rejected for named reasons (geo, duplicate, no-answer).
Short version: reconcile by click ID before crying foul. Random rejection looks different from a flat haircut.
