Two of your own pages are fighting for one box
Heard from an in-house lead this week: their snippet kept flickering between two URLs day to day, traffic bleeding on both. Diagnosis — internal cannibalization. Two pages targeting the same question, Google can't decide, neither wins cleanly.
We're hearing this is more common after content teams scale 'related' posts without a hub plan.
The fix — pick the canonical answer page, consolidate the snippet block there, and turn the loser into supporting content that links up. One question, one owner.
Flicker usually stops within a recrawl. Watching this.
