A Subscribe & Save callout raised consumable-niche EPC 21%
For replenishable products, pointing readers at Amazon's Subscribe & Save converted browsers who hesitate on one-time buys. A supplements site tested it. n=8,900 sessions/30 days.
— Standard "buy now": order rate 3.4%, EPC $0.41
— With "cheaper on Subscribe & Save" callout: order rate 4.2%, EPC $0.50 (+21%)
The subscription framing lowered the perceived commitment (cancel anytime, ~5–15% off) and lifted the close rate. Commission paid on the first order same as any purchase.
So what: for consumables, the subscription angle is a conversion lever, not just a discount. Lead with cost-per-use, not sticker price.
